Liberalism. Choice or Force

March 13, 2017, 8:05 p.m. (1 year, 1 month ago)

Lets assume you happened to be president while playing Secret Hitler and you've got 2 liberal policies and 1 fascist (2b1r). What could happen next?

No matter what your role are, lets look what might happen after these actions:

  1. You discarded red

  2. Your chancellor got 2 liberal cards, they played one of them

You discarded blue

Your chancellor got choice between blue/liberal and red/fascist. And theres two possibilities:

Chancellor played blue

Chancellor played red

As you can clearly see when you give a choice after getting 2b1r you either get same blue played with more information or just knowledge with a compensation.

Obviously there are special cases where you have to play one way or another, for expample if 4/5 blues were played and you're liberal you should force to win, if you're fasc you should gave a choice (theres a slight hope for chancellor to be moron).

But in most cases you want to give a choice to learn something about chancellor and you want to force if you already have this information. In other words:

As liberal (and Hitler-Senpai) you should give a choice

As fascist you should force

Try to be respectful and patient with people who disagree with you
